Family Violence Intervention Program

 

A 24-week program utilizing a power and control model to teach participants personal accountability and designed to address the issues of violence between intimate partners and familial relationships. The program accepts persons who are court-mandated to participate in a Family Violence Intervention program (FVIP) or self-referred individuals who recognize they have an intimate partner – domestic violence issues in their relationships. Participants will learn tools to address power and control issues in relationships and to reduce the incidence of violence. Special emphasis is placed on protecting the victims and helping the client to change their beliefs and behaviors.

To enroll, the participant must complete an intake interview and orientation.
